Herb of the Moment – Air Force One
Posted by The AAC Staff on January 22, 2010

Air Force One is a strain we’ve had several times, and just got restocked the other day with some more… I hope this becomes a regular.
It’s a strong, Sativa-dominate hybrid with a very nice flavor.
Air Force One is a Jack Herer-like strain, or as someone mentioned “Jack Here on steriods…” – so let’s talk about Jack Herer.
Jack Herer – The marijuana strain – From Wikipedia
This strain is a hybrid of Skunk #1, Northern Lights #5, and Haze.[1]
It was named after Jack Herer, author and cannabis decriminalization activist. It has sativa dominant characteristics. The flowering time is 50–70 days.[2]
Jack Herer won the seventh High Times Cannabis Cup.[1]
Jack Herer – The marijuana activist – from Wikipedia
Jack Herer (born June 18, 1939, in New York City, New York) is an American cannabis activist and the author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, a book which has been used in efforts to decriminalize cannabis.
A former Goldwater Republican, Herer is now a pro-marijuana and hemp activist. He has written two books, the aforementioned The Emperor Wears No Clothes and Grass. There has also been a documentary made about his life called, The Emperor of Hemp. He believes that the cannabis sativa plant should be decriminalized because it has been shown to be a renewable source of fuel, food, and medicine, and can be grown in virtually any part of the world, and that the U.S. government deliberately hides the proof of this. He has devoted his life to the support of cannabis, hemp and marijuana.
A specific strain of cannabis[1] has been named after Jack Herer in honour of his work. The strain has won several awards, including the 7th High Times Cannabis Cup. Jack Herer was also introduced to the Counterculture Hall of Fame at the 16th Cannabis Cup in recognition of his first book.[2]
