Claudius passed away last week peacefully on his own sofa in his new apartment, alone but with dignity… Now we want to grieve and celebrate him together as a community with music and memories…

Tonight (Saturday, July 24th) we want to honor him, his songs and his spirit with many of our friends in a joyous celebration of music, and also help raise funds for his burial.

Come and be a part of the tribute and celebration of this great man who briefly passed through our lives.

The Mojo – Smell and Feel

The Mojo is a new strain that was seen for the first time in 2009.

It has a sweet and tangy smell with a hint of lemon and an Indica feel with Sativa undertones – meaning – stoney but thoughtful and active. Good for body comfort and mood adjustment, among other things…

Genetics – Northern Lights X White Widow

This strain is a hybrid of two classic strains – Northern Lights and White Widow. Both strains come from Amsterdam and have been Cannabis Cup winners in the past.

Northern Lights is a predominantly Indica strain that has been used numerous times to create hybrids because of it’s increased potency and bud size, reduced plant height and shorter flowering time.

White Widow is named for the high concentration of trichomes (those little white or clear bulbs you can see in the close ups) that give the plant it’s frosted, “white” look. A hybrid itself, White Widow is 60% Sativa and 40% Indica and can be very potent when grown properly.

We’ve seen several batches of The Mojo over this last year, each one has been very popular and goes very fast…

From my experience, I have found the Indica effects to be much stronger the first few days of using The Mojo, but as the week goes on the Sativa effects seem to be more noticeable… but that could just be me.

This week I am happy to announce that the powers that be have done something very nice… and it’s about a name change…

This week’s herb of the moment is called Dream Queen - that’s it’s new name. Previously this strain has been called Green Crack – a name I’ve personally disliked since I first heard it. Does our wonderful herb need anymore negative street drug references?

What I’ve been told is that the people who are cloning this strain and passing it along to the community have chosen (wisely I my humble opinion) to rechristen this delightful California indica hybrid strain as Dream Queen…
